Alex Thomas is one of the brightest in Sierra Leone, working in strides to make things happen, from the many positions he has held whilst serving his mother land. Alex started his educational pursuit at Njala University College, graduating with a BA in Economics. He is a double Master’s holder in Economics and Development Studies, and currently in hot pursuit of another laurel in the field of business, in MBA. Alex had worked at the American Embassy as Purchasing Officer, and does part-time lectures at the University of IPAM.
Prior to his engagement with AA-SL, Alex Thomas had worked in the NGO community, first with the Red Cross, and then with CARE International. He had worked briefly with Sierra Rutile ltd, prior to his university entrance. Alex Thomas has a wealth of experience in the area of Accounting, Financial Management, Procurement and Logistics, and is also well groomed in NGO operations, humanitarian intervention and Donor relations. He will bring his expertise, profession and skills to bear in the operations of Accountability Alert.
